Miracle Missions Sunday was started at Northside more than 10 years ago because of the vision of Pastor Emeritus, Loyd Singley. On this one Sunday each year, our people are challenged to give up to 90% of their income for that week to the Lord as a sacrificial missions offering. Some choose this particular Sunday as a starting point to begin tithing. Over the last decade or so, we have worshipfully give more than $1.2 million to missions projects worldwide. To God be the glory!
We have some amazing guests lined up to speak on October 1. Mike and Dottie Clark opened Casa Aleluyah, an orphanage in Guatemala, when God called them there many years ago. They minister the love of Jesus to hundreds of children every single day. Donna Engvall is the founder of Unashamed Love, a ministry to women who work and live in the red light district. She boldly and lovingly proclaims freedom through Jesus to these precious women. You won't want to miss the dynamic testimonies of these powerfully anointed ministries.
It is amazing to see the creative ways our people use to raise money to support missions projects . This year, once again, the Missions Garage Sale has been organized. The date for this event is on October 7. BBQ burgers and sausage poboys will be available for purchase that day as well, along with delicious sweets. This annual event is a tremendous success. To get involved, call Janet at 781-6550.
Also, we are organizing a Missions Craft Fair which will take place during the holiday shopping season on November 11. There will be a variety of vendors, door prizes, face painting, and lunches available for purchase. If you would like to be a vendor, click here to register.
